A Flemish holy-water stoup (after 1749). City of Kortrijk. Pieter Ignaas Nolf (1710-1793). Cross with profiled border. Ends of cross decorated with openwork and cartouches in Louis XV style. Cast Corpus Christi. Basin in the shape of a divinity lamp with constricted, plain neck and plain closing, from which a flower hangs. Hinged plain lid. Three volute feet. Marks at bottom on front of cross: Maker mark: crowned initials P.I.N. with star below for Pieter Ignaas Nolf after 1749. Ownership title: engraved letter C on the lid. H.: 24.5 cm. B.: 11.5 cm
