Kard dagger, Iran qâjâr, early 19th century Straight single-edged blade in damascus steel, the heel engraved with a half-lambrequin flowered with gold inlaid center and edges. The flat back with a ridge and engraved decoration of fleurons and cartouches enhanced with gold extending on the silk of the handle flanked by two bone plates. Length : 32,8 cm Traces of rust, a part of the handle disassembled, gold decoration slightly erased.
