Presumed provenance : On the reverse side a label in blue ink : " N° 576 of the inventory of the estate of the Count and Countess Elphège Fremy drawn up in 1977 by Maître Oger, auctioneer. Count Elphège Frémy (1883 - 1966) was an archivist paleographer, author of a thesis on the History of the Royal Manufacture of Mirrors of France in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries (1909).
