RARE AND LARGE PAIR OF PUTTI, "THE TWO LOVES Seated on small stools in x, in patinated and gilded bronze resting on a column in sea-green marble, encircled by a frieze in chased and gilded bronze with ovum leaves. 1st Empire period Height : 50 cm Small lack in the hand of the cherubs. This work of great quality is to be compared with the best bronziers of this period such as Thomire and Ravrio.
